What Kind Of Christmas Crafter Are You? - A Fun Quiz

Hi everyone.

I don’t want to alarm you but as I write this, there are less than four weeks left until Christmas. So if you haven’t opened any doors on your Advent calendar yet, you’re already several chocolates behind.

Of course, as a highly organised and dedicated crafter, you’ll have already completed all your handmade Christmas cards and be working on your Valentine’s Day ones now, won’t you? But just in case you haven’t, why not take this fun quiz and discover just exactly what kind of Christmas crafter you are!

1. It’s the middle of summer, the sun is blazing and the temperature is soaring. Where are you?

a) Sunbathing on a lilo in the back garden.

b) Sitting in the shade while looking online for some Christmas papercraft kits.

c) Secreted away in your craft room with a fan and glittered reindeer all over your desk.

2.  It’s the beginning of December. How much progress have you made with your handcrafted Christmas cards for friends and family?

a) You haven’t started them yet.

b) You’re almost there but still have a few left to do.

c) You made them all in July and posted them on 30 October.

3.  When it comes to decorations, what does your Christmas tree look like?

a) It’s decked out in plastic baubles and tinsel from the Pound Shop.

b) It’s decked out in handmade decorations bought from craft fairs and markets.

c) It’s decked out in over 200 different coloured hand-embroidered felt ornaments decorated with pom poms and tassels that you’ve spent all year making.

4.  On Christmas Day, what will you be doing if you have any time to yourself?

a) Snoozing on the sofa with a glass of Prosecco and a tin of Quality Street.

b) Watching the craft channel with a glass of Prosecco and a tin of Quality Street.

c) Sitting at your craft desk making Easter cards with a bottle of mineral water.

5.  How many Christmas presents did you make this year?

a) None.

b) Ten.

c) 300.

Mostly  A: Either you don’t celebrate Christmas and don’t really see why anyone else should, or you enjoy the adrenaline rush of downloading as many digital products as you possibly can on Christmas Eve and staying up all night printing them out.

Mostly B: You enjoy crafting for Christmas but don’t like starting too early. You prefer to be inspired once the season kicks in, although sensible enough not to leave everything until the last minute and you do try to plan ahead as well.

Mostly C: Crafting for Christmas is like a military operation to you which lasts pretty much all year round. Being so well organised is impressive but maybe you should take a break from it sometimes and just craft for your own pleasure.

How did you do?

Well,  whatever kind of Christmas crafter you’ve turned out to be (and of course, this was just for fun!), I hope you manage to brush off the glitter and untangle the redliner tape in time to really enjoy the rest of the festive season.

Take care.
