What To Do With Christmas Wall Art When Christmas Is Over

Hi everyone.

What do you do with your Christmas wall art once Christmas is over?

Do you take it off the wall and put it away with the decorations? Do you keep it in the frame but put an unseasonal picture over it? Do you keep it up all year round? Or, like your Christmas tree (unless it's an artificial one of course), do you throw it out with the trash?

The good news is that if you choose digital wall art, you can do any of those things without worrying about being wasteful or having to think about Christmas in the middle of the summer. Downloadable digital wall usually costs so little that replacing it every year with a new piece will probably be the least expensive of anything you do during the festive season.  And it should be a lot easier to remove from a frame.

But here's something else you could do with your Christmas wall art. Why not use it to make quick and easy cards for family and friends? If you've chosen to go digital with your wall art, you are usually allowed to print a design out as many times as you like, once you've made the initial purchase. Then all you need are some card blanks which you can easily purchase from online or from a craft store. Once you've downloaded your art, resize it on your device to fit the centre of your card blank and print it out, preferably on quality paper or card, rather than cheap copier paper. Adhere the design with strong glue or double-side tape. Add your own sentiment and embellishments such as ribbon, faux gems or pearls if you want a more personal touch.

All the digital wall art featured in this post is available to instantly download and print out as many times as you like in the Melissa Lawrence Creative Etsy shop.

Take care.
